Q: Where can I get a 1969 dodge charger to fix up?
It dosnt have run or anything. I just want to find one for around 200 to 500 $ that I can fix up.
A: Right here, but this one is a little more expensive, for $200-$500 you would just be looking at a pile of rust.

Q: Whos favorite car is a 1969 dodge charger?
i love 1969 dodge chargers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A: after owning a 1968 and 1969 r/t's and racing them between the years 1975-1980---nope they are not my favorite---I did like them, i love the look. But the long hood, budging rear end with a low sitting position made it hard to parallel park and uncomfortable on long trips over 300 miles. There where hot, noisy, and echoed like a drum because of the huge trunk. It was my favorite until I got into a 1969 Challenger convertible r/t with the same 440.
Q: hey i was just wondering how i would get my hands on a 1968 or 1969 dodge charger does not require engine?
rust is not an issue. cheap as possible would help
A: check this site out they have a lot of them on it for sale, any where from cheap to moderate prices ,all good to restore, good luck,,http://classiccar.com/
Q: does the 1969 dodge charger have airbags?
if not, than whats the first year they started making them with airbags. also, i'v been looking for one to fix up so i also need to find one thats in the range of $500 to $4000. thanks.
A: You won't see airbags on any car until the mid-80s. Then they were only on higher end cars, or an expensive option. They really didn't become standard until the early 90s.
Q: I have some questions about the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T?
How much would the car cost?
How many miles per gallon (MPG)?
Automatic transmission available?
A: A real nice driver about 15-25K.
You will live in the low to mid teens if you treat her nicely. and get the smallest engine you find, 440 is not your friend for mileage.
Yes the auto is a 727, great tranny.
I myself have a 1968 Charger that will have a 440 in it soon. I just love big blocks.
Q: something about 1969 dodge charger?
remember fast and furious movie where there was a 1969-1970 dodge charger, what was that thing called on top of the hood of the charger?
A: It was a 1970 Dodge Charger, and the thing sticking out of the hood was a non-functional blower/supercharger. It was only there for looks. During the street race with the Toyota Supra, the car actually does something that is impossible---a burnout and a wheelie at the same time. This is impossible because wheelies require excellent traction and burnouts require poor traction.
Q: How much could it cost me a 1969 Dodge Charger if I could get one painted like the General Lee?
A: to be honest--because so many people have done this, it would cause the value of the car to go down. The average cost is about $800.00 for a cheap job, and $3500 for a job done right. not including the push bar. Understand , there are "General Lee" / Duke's of Hazard fans and there are Muscle car and Dodge Charger Fans---they don't mix well to both sides on this car because so many were destroyed
Q: Anyone know of a CHEAP 1969 Dodge Charger for sale?
I've tried eBay, the bidding gets outrageous. Where's the best place to look?
A: Craigslist.org, or klode.com if you are a handy guy.
Q: What kind of frame did the 1969 dodge charger have?
A: it had a complete frame not like these cheap 2 bolt system frames that they have out now

A: That's the hardest part about the whole concept is actually finding one you like at a decent price. If you have found no luck at salvage lots, then try collectorcartrader.com. They have junky cars all the way to million dollar cars. Good luck.
Q: 1969 Dodge Charger cold starting problems?
My Dodge won't start when it is below 35 degrees outside. I have replaced the coil and battery, I have tried putting a light under the hood, in the interior, and tried jump-starting it. All of these have not seemed to help at all. I was thinking that it could be the ignition switch. If the switch was not passing enough voltage it would cause the car to not even try to spark - which is what it is doing. Is there anything else that could be causing me to have this problem? HELP PLEASE!!! Every hour that passes is one less hour I have to spend with my ride!
I have upgraded the car to transistorized ignition (no points), have put a new Edelbrock 750 cfm carb on it with an electric choke, new balast resistor, and still have the problem. The engine is a 383 ci, so the carb is a little big, but I was able to start the car before just recently. The coil is a new Accel Pro Stock coil.
Distributor turns when the car turns over, I put a new Comp Cams Roller Timing Chain on it last year. I tested to see if the plugs are getting spark by taking the wire off of the coil, putting an old spark plug in it, and touching it to the head while I attempted to start the car. No spark was seen. I tested the voltage at the battery and got a reading of 12.9 volts. On the incoming side of the resistor with the key on I got areading of 10.6 voltz, outgoing side 8.5 voltz. When I turn the engine over, the incoming side reads 8 voltz, and the outgoing side reads 5.4 voltz. I think that this is too low for proper ignition and the only thing in the current path that could have that much resistance is the ignition switch. Water has leaked through the windshield and ran in the general vicinity of the switch which could now be corroded, causing the resistance. Also the car appears to have a vacuum leak because the hide-away headlights will not close and the heater goes out over 45 mph.
A: yes a high compression engine will not want to start in that weather , 5w 30 oil , a block heater , a battery with a cca rating of 700 amps , a good tune up and methyl hydrate in your premium gas are your minimum start points , also see if your distributor sees 12v in the start position , the ballast resistor should only operate in the run position . good luck , put some weight in the trunk for traction too .ps. if it turns over but won't catch , retard your ignition timing a bit that may help , but get her WARM .
