Q: How much storage is there in a Dodge Charger?
We are traveling to Orlando next month and have a Dodge Charger as a rental car.
My question is is will there be enough space for 5 suitcases and a stroller? There are 4 adults and 1 infant traveling so we won't have a spare seat we could use.

A: If you are concerned over trunk space, rent a Mercury Grand Marquis. I've had both a Marquis and a Charger. Both have big trunks, but the Charger is not very deep. You will probably do fine with the 5 suitcases (depending on their size). The stroller may be a problem if it's a big one.
The Marquis will swallow just about anything.
Stop by the rental car place and check it out before it's time to load up.
Q: Is a there a computer chip that can upgrade my regular dodge charger to a hemi version?
I just bought a Dodge Charger (without hemi) but a guy I work with said there was a computer chip that can upgrade the engine to a hemi? Does anyone know?

No. The Hemi is a different motor completely from the one your charger came with. Sorry. This guy is a retard!
Q: What are the visible body differences between the 2006 through 2008 Dodge Charger?
I'm planning on getting a used Dodge Charger SRT8 and I'm not sure if there are any noticeable differences between the 2006-2008 models.
At a glance they appear to be almost exactly a like.
Does anybody know for sure what the differences are? I'm keen to fine details and w/e. Lights, fog lamps, the works. If there's anything different I want to know about it. Thanks =)
A: I don't believe there were any major differences in exterior appearance. 2008 was the first year for HID lights as an option. 2008 was also the first year for using the Mercedes style key.
From what I've read, 2006 had some problems with transmissions leaking and shifting. These seem to have been worked out in later years.
There are options for wheels, sunroof and a few other things that may make individual cars appear different. When you put your foot down, it wont matter if there are minor differences. The big Hemi is a blast to drive.
Q: Can I upgrade my headlights on my Dodge Charger to HID ones?
I got a Charger that has regular halogen headlights and I like the HID lights but don't want a cheap kit off of Ebay that blinds everyone on the road. On the dodge website this is a $700 option for the R/T models and up. My question is can I just install the factory HID headlights on a SXT model.
A: The wiring is different, so that would have to be changed too, along with a different relay, tho not sure about the relay.
The wiring is part of a larger harness, so I doubt they could install it after it's made.
Q: Where can i buy a Dodge Charger shell in England ?
I live in England and want a Dodge Charger shell. I want to build one from scratch. I am guiessing i cant simply go to a scrapyard so there must be somewhere i can get one?

Q: Is it possible to make a handbrake turn with a Dodge Charger?
As we know, the Dodge charger's hand brake is operated by the left foot. So can a handbrake turn happen with it?
A: Yeah baby! But why not use the gas. Using the parking brake can be awkward with your foot; you have to be holding the release handle or you won't be in control

Q: Is it just me or is the Dodge Charger get a lot of use in t.v and movies lately?
I haven't seen at least one tv show lately that doesn;t have a Dodge Charger in it at some point. The Movies are just the same watch the trailers and you see a Dodge Charger featured. Is it because it a nice looking car or is because Dodge is pumping out major promo on this car. Almost makes want to go out and buy a Dodge Charger but i think i'll wait for the new Dodge Challenger to come out.

Q: Does any one know where to find 1966 Dodge charger parts?
My dad and I are rebuilding his Dodge charger and there are some very hard to find parts. If anyone can help I'd be greatful. I've checked a slew of sites with no avail. We need some chrome and rear taillight left side. Also the motor for the left side hide away head lights. Thanks for any support you can give me.

ebay is usually the cheapest for second hand parts and is great if you are buying something like a grille where you see the pics...but watch out for people selling parts that were just pulled off a car and might not work...wiper motor for example!

Q: Do you own a Dodge Charger and have transmission problems?
I have owned a 2008 Dodge Charger for seven weeks or 4000 miles, I have had this car in the shop three times (21 days) so far and each time the car was repaired, the same problem in the transmission occurred. Does anyone own or know someone who owns a 2008 Charger and has this problem, please respond to this?
A: my cousin has one that's doing the same thing they have had it for over a week this time and i think their going to replace the transmission in it because she threatened to go to Chrysler on them if they didn't repair it right this time,it hasn't been nothing but problems since she got it,just with the transmission though nothing else has been wrong with it,right now it wont shift right,and they say the only way to repair it is replace the transmission in it,stay on them they will replace it,it doesn't cost the dealer nothing to do this they get paid for repairing it,good luck.
Q: I'm going to get a dodge Charger. What things can i do to it?
I really want to make it fast, but also loo good. I was planning on getting an s/e maybe 2007 or 2008 as my base. I want to put a nice body kit, more hp, you know things like that. Tell me what you think, any suggestions, what type of body kit should I get, and how to get a lot more hp out of it...Also what other car can I get as an alternative to the Dodge Charger.

Q: How to change a head lamp assembly on a Dodge Charger 2008?
A truck in front of me lost his load and dropped a log on the road. It fell off and landed on the front grill of my 08 Dodge Charger. Lucky me. It only broke the left front head light. It needs to be replaced. But I don't see a way to do it.??
A: You're going to have to remove the front bumper from the car to change out the headlight. First time it will probably take you about 45min and you can do it without having to remove the front wheels. I've done it a couple times to mine now and can do it in about 10-15 min.

Q: Is there any way to increase the towing capacity of a dodge charger?
I have a dodge charger that has a 2000lb towing capacity and I want to be able to tow a 2300lb boat safely without dumping out a bucket of money for it.
A: you can use a spring booster on it that's about the cheapest way to do that,300 pounds isn't going to be that much different,you really need a truck for towing, a charger isn't a good vehicle to tow with,good luck.
